This Privacy Policy describes how Noonoo handles personal information for families, nannies, references, and visitors using our website and matching services.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Service Terms.
2. Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, information from other people involved in the matching process, and information from service providers or public sources.

Childcare matching can involve sensitive information. Families may submit information about children, household routines, home address, special needs, allergies, or other household details. Nannies may submit identity, work authorization, credential, reference, background-check-related, or other professional information.
Please submit sensitive information only when it is relevant to the matching process. Do not submit information about another person unless you have authority or permission to do so.
We use sensitive information only for matching, verification, safety, legal compliance, service operations, and other purposes reasonably related to the Services. We do not use sensitive information for unrelated advertising.

6. Text Messaging and Mobile Information
If you separately opt in, Noonoo may send recurring text messages about your account, profile, interviews, scheduling, potential matches, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Noonoo does not sell or rent mobile numbers, text-messaging opt-in data, or text-messaging consent. We do not share this information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose it to service providers acting on our behalf only as needed to deliver and operate our text-messaging program, or as required by law.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help or contact legal@noonoo.com. Additional text-messaging terms are in our Service Terms.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to operate the website, keep you signed in, understand usage, improve the Services, remember preferences, and protect security.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the Services may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
8. Advertising, Sale, and Sharing
Noonoo does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may use service providers to help operate the website, understand usage, communicate with users, and improve the Services, but those providers are not permitted to use personal information for their own advertising purposes.
9. AI, Automation, and Interview Processing
Noonoo may use software-assisted tools, automated interviews, transcription, summarization, and similar technologies to help collect information, organize profile details, identify possible fit, and support Agents in the matching process.
Automated tools support Noonoo's workflow, but users remain responsible for their own hiring, acceptance, safety, and diligence decisions.
10. Background Checks
Noonoo may collect, use, and disclose information to facilitate screening and background checks through third-party providers. This may include identity information, contact information, address history, date of birth, government identification details, public-record information, provider reports, completion status, badge status, eligibility status, expiration dates, summaries, and related screening status or results.
Background checks are generally associated with nannies, caregivers, applicants, or other people who authorize or are otherwise eligible for screening. If families or other users are screened, we will use the information for matching, verification, safety, legal compliance, service operations, and other purposes reasonably related to the Services.
The person who is the subject of a background check may receive access to the report or related provider process, including any dispute process made available by the provider or required by law. Noonoo may share limited background-check information, such as completion status, eligibility status, badge status, screening level, expiration, or a summary, with families, nannies, Agents, or other users involved in a match. Detailed reports are shared only as permitted by law, provider terms, and applicable authorizations.
Background checks may be subject to separate provider terms, disclosures, authorizations, notices, and legal requirements.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, protect safety, improve the Services, and support legitimate business purposes.
Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the reason it was collected, account status, legal requirements, and operational needs.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and telling us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
13. Your Choices and Rights
You may update certain account or profile information through the Services. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or other action regarding your personal information.
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights under applicable law. We will respond to requests as required by law and may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications by using unsubscribe instructions or contacting us. We may still send service, account, safety, legal, or transactional communications through channels permitted by law. If you opt out of Noonoo Service Messages by replying STOP, we will not send further text messages under that program unless you opt in again.
14. Children
The Services are intended for adults. Noonoo does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Families may provide information about children as part of the matching process. If you are a parent or guardian and believe information about a child was provided without authorization, contact us so we can review the request.

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services. Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Noonoo is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
16. International Users
Noonoo is based in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
