Questions before you begin.

When should we start looking for newborn care?
Start before your baby arrives to define the role, schedule, and budget. If your baby is already home, tell us when you need help.
How does noonoo help me hire a newborn care specialist?
We learn the schedule, duties, budget, and preferences you have in mind, then search, interview, and screen caregivers. You meet a short list and choose whom to hire.
Can a newborn specialist help during the day or overnight?
Yes. Tell us the hours you need, and we can search for a specialist for daytime or overnight care.
Will the specialist do housework while the baby sleeps?
Baby-related work can include washing bottles, baby laundry, and tidying the nursery while the baby sleeps. Family laundry, meals, errands, and general cleaning are separate duties to include in the role if you need them.
Is a newborn care specialist a nurse?
Not necessarily. Newborn care specialists focus on nonmedical infant care. A registered or licensed practical nurse has a separate professional license. If your baby needs medical care, ask your clinician which licensed professional is appropriate.
Who pays the caregiver?
Your family agrees on caregiver compensation and pays it separately from noonoo membership. Paid trials, payroll, taxes, and other employment responsibilities are also separate.
