- How early should we start looking for a babysitter?
- Tell us the dates, hours, and care needs as soon as you know them. Finding and meeting the right person takes time, so a new search is not a promise of same-day coverage.
- Can noonoo help with one evening or a recurring schedule?
- Yes. Describe whether you need occasional evenings, a regular block of hours, after-school care, or backup. We shape the caregiver search around that schedule.
- How is noonoo different from browsing sitter profiles?
- A marketplace gives you profiles to search yourself. Your noonoo agent learns the role, conducts the early search and screening, and introduces a small shortlist for your family to meet and choose from.
- How does noonoo screen babysitter candidates?
- We interview candidates, call references, run background checks, and review relevant credentials. Your family meets the shortlist, asks its own questions, and decides whom to hire.
- What should we agree on before a sitter starts?
- Set the hours, pay, number and ages of children, routine, meals, bedtime, transportation, emergency contacts, and any extra duties. Keep the child's supervision ahead of household work.
- Who pays the babysitter?
- Your family agrees on and pays the sitter directly. noonoo membership covers the search and support; the sitter's pay is separate.
- What if our needs change or the first fit is wrong?
- While your membership is active, tell your agent what changed. We can revise the role and search again.
